I's Dotted and T's Crossed...off we go.

Well, for those of you who do not know, Atanas and I are moving to Lisbon, Portugal. Atanas was accepted to Technical University of Lisbon (http://www.utl.pt/pagina.php?area=19) He will be earning his Masters in Computer Engineering!! I am so proud of him. It's a two year program, so we should be back in the states after this program is finished. We are both so excited about this opportunity.
Backing up a bit...December was a blur. My last day of work was December 21st, and we left that night for Washington, MO to visit Atanas' host family for Christmas. We had the best time. We were there until the 28th and moved out of our apartment on the 30th and 31st. I was the sickest I have been in a long time the two days we moved. I still can't believe the move happened. I didn't even get to properly say goodbye to the old place. I just wanted the move to be all over. After that, we moved in with Vesna (sister-in-law). She has been so gracious to open her home to us for the past month. We will miss her so much!! We have been living out of and tripping over, our 10, yes 10, suitcases for the past 24 days! Needlesss to say, I am ready to get a little more settled. We have spent the last month or so just getting ourselves as organized as possible to move our lives across the pond. Man, there are so many things to get done.
Tomorrow is the big day. We should arrive in our home by 7am on Wednesday morning. I will have to pinch myself to make sure this is not a dream! I am stoked to blog and keep everyone up to date on all that goes on. Should be a non-stop adventure. I plan to keep y'all posted with pics and videos...
We humbly ask that you pray for us as we embark on this journey. We know how blessed we are to have the opportunity. I just pray that we don't take a minute for granted and that the Lord protects us.
So much more to come....Stay tuned!
