What's your Malfunction Junction?

As most of you know, I am a radio person. I don’t ever listen to CDs or Ipod in the car. With that said, I am a big listener to these morning shows on the way to work each day. I take a less hectic route to work than the rest of the commuting public, so I don’t ever hit the traffic that they are always talking about each morning. This morning it got me to thinkin, as she said: “it’s stop and go all the way to the mixing bowl.” Where is the Mixing Bowl?? I think it’s the section where I95 meets 495, but not totally sure on that one. Then I started thinking of other cities and their “mixing bowls.” Every city has theirs. What’s yours? You know, that spot that the traffic girl talks about every morning and you have no idea where it is, but it’s always a problem…Memphis’ is Malfunction Junction ( always a personal favorite). I think this one is where I55 meets I240 East…

Just curious, post a comment with your Malfunction Junction or Mixing Bowl.

Happy day!

oh man, we had a terrible one in charleston, where 26 meets 526. it's called the "mark clark interchange," but i'm sure that people who have to deal with it every day have more colorful names for it. haven't found malfunction junction in hattiesburg yet, but probably has something to do with hardy street...
