Philippians 4:6-7

Over the past year or so, I have learned more and more about the power of prayer. Atanas and I, along with family and friends, have gone through trails and celebrated many victories. In a perfect world, we could all be with each other in good times and in bad.  However, we can come together in prayer. What a great gift God has given us! Trusting & praising Him through prayer!

I came across this poem and don't know who to credit for it, but I just loved it.

We cannot always be near
Our friends to help,
To share with them in time of need
And sweet communion find
In their blest fellowship-
But we can pray.

We cannot always speak
The winning word
To one who needs to find the way.
Our minds oft fail, our sprits lag.
Or doors are closed to our approach,
But we can pray.

Prayer can multiply our work
Our presence, our range of good,
Leap o're miles, go through doors,
Bind us close to those we love
And bless all those that need our help-
So let us pray!

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.  Phil. 4:6-7
